Charlotte Flair breaks character to give gift to current WWE rival
Charlotte Flair broke character to give a present to her current WWE rival. Flair is currently a member of the SmackDown roster and made a surprise appearance at Clash in Italy last weekend.
Jade Cargill recently celebrated her birthday and received flowers from Charlotte Flair. The Storm took to Instagram today to thank Flair for her birthday gift, and you can check out her message in the image below.
Cargill lost the WWE Women’s Championship to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 42. She got a rematch for the title at Clash in Italy last weekend and came close to becoming champion again.
B-Fab and Michin got involved in the match, but Charlotte Flair took them out with a Crossbody off the barricade. Ripley then connected with Riptide on Cargill to retain the title.
Flair teamed up with Women’s United States Champion Tiffany Stratton to battle Jade Cargill and Michin this past Friday night on SmackDown. Cargill pinned Stratton in the match to earn the victory for her team. Flair is in an alliance with Alexa Bliss, who was attacked by Cargill last month. Bliss will be competing in a Queen of the Ring match tomorrow night on RAW.
Charlotte Flair reveals WWE turned down her request to bring back a popular chant
SmackDown star Charlotte Flair recently shared that the promotion turned down her suggestion to bring back her iconic “uh oh” chant.
Speaking in Ring The Belle, the former champion shared that she tried to bring the chant back, but it was shut down by WWE. She noted that the chant became popular because it was completely random.
“I think I tried to, and they shut it down. But it really was situational. That was like one of those things that I don’t know if, like, would that have worked in a different — I mean, I don’t know. I think that’s what made it so great is ’cause it’s so random,” she said.
